Sinhbalo was founded by Le Van Sinh, founder of the famous Sinh Cafe. Sinh was an early editor and contributor to Lonely Planet including creation of the 1st Edition Maps. Sinh still leads cycling your across Vietnam, the Mekong, Laos and Cambodia. Our guides, drivers, and other staff have years of experience and are the top in our field.
About our bicycles…
Our bike fleet of 140 bicycles include the Trek hybrid model 7000, 7200, 7300; Trek mountain bike with hard tail model 4500, 4300; 3900. Specialized hard rock mt bike and some road bikes like Cervelo, Giant, Litespeed, Trek Madone project one , Wilier, Cannondale, Specialize etc…
These bikes are good for the northern mountains, touring from Hanoi to Saigon, cycling adventure on Ho Chi Minh highway, and for the flat Mekong Delta as well.
We provide bike and gear on request, including SPD pedals and helmets. However, we recommend you bring your own helmet, shoes and pedals. If you do not, please inform us as to exactly which size helmet and type of pedals you require.
Our spacious bike garage stores all manner bikes–including our XXL bikes (22.5″ frame) whose saddle stands almost 1.2 meter high. We employ a full time, fully equipped, on-site mechanic.
