Subject: Recent Visit
Hi Loan,
My daughter and I returned home on April 15th after a very enjoyable visit to Viet Nam. The four day private tour that you helped arrange for us at the start of our visit was exceptional. Our tour guide, Ly Quane Hoan, was very knowledgeable and provided a great deal of information about the many places we visited across the Mekong Delta. His timing, and that of our driver and all the various boat operators who provided our transportation, was precise and dependable. Wether we were switching from car to boat or boat to car, our ride was always waiting for us. The two hotels and the one “home stay” you selected were, also, just right.
I will be pleased to recommend you and your firm to anyone I know who plans to visit Viet Nam.
Thank You!

We decided to go on a three-day-Mekong Delta tour with SinhBalo. There were two other couples joining our tour which was advertised as a cycling tour with homestay.
Our guide Dien simply was great! He spoke perfect English, was extremely knowledgeable about Vietnamese culture, food, sights – you name it. This guy was able to answer all the questions we had without ever getting tired of it.
The tour included multiple different activities like boat rides, cycling, walking, sightseeing and Dien really tried to show us a multitude of aspects of life in the Mekong Delta. There even was a short Vietnamese cooking school included on one of the evenings. We prefer vegetarian food and Dien always helped with the special dishes for us. As one of us had problems with her bike saddle, he tried his best to fix it.
The homestays were basic but nice, the hosts they picked were very friendly and welcoming.
It definitely was the nicest, fullest and most interesting experience we had in all of Vietnam. Thanks for that!

Dear Loan, I want to let you know that we really enjoyed our Mekong Delta tour this week. Ut was our tour guide and We thought he was wonderful. He was informative, friendly and took very good care of us all. I highly recommend that you keep using him as a tour guide. I also want to say thanks for the route of the tour – the quiet (?) roads gave us a very special view of life for the people of the Meknog region, we loved the floating markets, and the eco-guesthouse was a good experience for us.
So thank you for the wonderful tour, and special thanks and recommendation of Ut.

I did a 2 day, 1 night tour with a homestay. It was a very nice experience. The first day we saw beautiful backroads. Everything was very well orgaized and the meals were generally good. The homestay was basic but clean and cosy with decent bathrooms. On the 2nd day the organization was again very good. We were all a little bit tired from the hot weather and those not so comfortable bike seats but still had a nice time (the bikes are well maintained and with good brakes). The scenery is a bit less spectacular the 2nd day. Overall this was a worth while experience. The route is flat so you don’t need to be particularly in shape.

Great family experience
Reviewed April 5, 2012 NEW
We booked a 3 days 2 nights cycling tour of the Mekong Delta, and it was definitely one of the best moments of our trip in Vietnam. We cycled with our 6 year old, and the tiny paths and small roads that our guide Phuc chose for us were perfect.
We cycled between 10 to 15 miles per day, but our child followed without problem!
Helmets are provided so are all equipments (water, raincoat…), just bring enough sun screen because you will need it!
We stayed in guesthouses. The first one was a beautiful very old traditional house restaured with the help of a japanese organisation. It was simple but clean. On the second day, we slept at a family’s home. There again, very simple but clean enough.
The trip was very well organized, we never had to wait, the van was always there waiting for us when needed.
And the food, was great, totally suitable for young children, tasty and fresh.
A memorable trip.

Hello Phuong
We are now back home in the UK, with temperatures this morning 8 degrees C; some 26 degrees cooler than on our cycle ride.
First of all, we would all like to thank you for organising the Halong Bay trip which we all loved the Phoenix Cruiser was excellent with really good accommodation and lovely food.
The highlight of our trip was the wonderful tour you organisedand with Ut, we had the perfect guide, who introduced us to so many things of interest in your country. He has a superb knowledge of the Mekong; the people; their arts and crafts;the customs; fruit and wildlife and much more.He is a great asset to your company and was a great pleasure for us to have him guide us.Mr Ba too, was a very good and thoughtful driver with whom we always felt completely safe.Ut and Mr Ba are a good team. The homestay we stayed at was an excellent insight into Mekong family life which we very much enjoyed and the hotel in Chau Doc was a nice way to end our tour with a little bit of luxury.
I hope you don’t mind me saying but the guest house our first overnight stay in the Mekong may be acceptable for backpackers to have dormitory- like accommodation but not really ideal for older tourists like us.We would have been happy to pay more to have had a better standard of accommodation.Maybe you could offer travellers the option of paying a little more to have improved accommodation. However, the staff were all very pleasant and the food was good and it did not prevent us having a good time.
Thank you again, we had a really good time throughout our stay.
Please pass on our best wishes and thanks to Ut and Mr Ba and to you for all your help.
Best Wishes

Dear Mr. Le Van Sinh of Sinbhalo Adventure Travel,
Back in the Netherlands we are looking back to a beautiful holiday in Vietnam. One of the highlights was our 4-day Mekong Delta cycling trip, booked at your office in HCMC with departure date February 13th.
(Day 1: Sai Gon to My Tho, Cai Be and to Vinh Long. Day 2: Vinh Long to Long Xuyen to Chau Doc. Day 3: Chau Doc to Tri Ton to Can Tho. Day 4: Can Tho to Sai Gon)
All parts of the trip were organised very well: The minibus, when/where to drive or cycle and the local people&family businesses we visited. But another very important thing was the tour guide Tan Phuc. He is a friendly and calm person, who exactly knew when to inform us and when to leave us to enjoy the scenery. He professionally guided us, with lots of information about the Vietnamese people and their habits. We could use all the information on the rest of our Holidays!
He also suggested a lunch with local people, which we enjoyed very much, the best lunch we had! We preferred it more than the big touristic restaurants, this was the only thing we didnt like so much, although the food was excellent as well ! ). We liked the homestay very much and the first night at the guesthouse on Binh Hoa Phuoc island was great!
I will advise other people to book with Sinbhalo Adventure Travel when they are planning to make a Mekong trip.
Please give Tan Phuc our warm greatings.

Hello,
I just wanted to pass along my praise for two of your guides: Lot and Ut.
My wife, Amie Jamieson, and I took a day trip with Lot to the Cao Dai temple and Cu Chi tunnels. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job keeping our group of six together and on time. I would recommend Lot to anyone looking to book a tour.
Regarding Ut, I cannot praise him enough. So incredibly friendly, so helpful, such an excellent guide. We spent a 3-day cycling tour with him, and after our tour was over we wished he could have come along on the rest of our trip to help navigate and translate! With him leading us, we make it safely through the roads and paths of the Mekong Delta, onto and off ferries, and to numerous sites and activities. He kept us on schedule and on such a good pace that we never felt bored or tired. We have never had such a wonderful guide as Ut. We wish him the best of luck in the future and thank him for making our trip so special. I would recommend Ut to anyone looking to book a tour.
In addition, I was very impressed with your company. On the cycling tour we did so many different things—sampling rambutan and longan right off the tree, drinking sugar cane juice, tasting coconut candy, taking a sampan ride—it’s hard to remember it all! We had such a deeper experience of the Mekong Delta than we ever imagined we would. Your tour was thoughtfully planned, well paced, and full of surprises. I couldn’t have been happier with the experience.
Sincerely,
Rick Piet

Did a four day/three night tour in December in the Delta. Fantastic. Great service. The guides were attentive to our needs, always giving us great options, and letting us set the pace for the day. They took us off the beaten path to see the real Vietnam. The focus was on biking and sightseeing, not shoving us into some tourist trap to shop while they got a commission. Please feel free to add the following to your testimonials page. Thank you for a great tour in December. I did the 4 day/3 night Mekong Delta tour (SBL9A). It was fantastic. The guides were great. They gave us excellent options and let us choose the pace for the day. They were always ready on time and provided great support. They seemed to be having fun which rubbed off on our group. I appreciated the mix of activities so we got to see the best of Vietnam and the Delta. The focus of the trip was on biking and activities, not once were we taken to a tourist trap or curio shop and expected to spend money. I usually avoid tours, but would travel with Sinhbalo again and recommend it to others.

My wife and I cycled with our 4 (ages 12 – 19) children around a Mekong Delta island full of orchards through Sinhbalo Adventure. Mr. Sinh was our guide, very friendly, knowledgeable, well-prepared and experienced. The 12 km trip around the island went quickly in a couple hours, and Mr. Sing was willing to add another 5 – 6 km through new scenery. Lunch was a new experience for our kids, but tasty and clean. The boat ride to and from the island was a tour in itself and part of a well-planned 1 day tour for those who can’t stay longer. We recommend it as the highlight of our trip to the Ho Chi Minh City/Delta area.

Did a three day, two night bike tour near Can Tho, Ben Tre island. No tombs or ruins to visit, which is a good thing. It was interesting to see the backroads of the Mekong Delta area and the fruit orchard area. If you like tasting fruit and seeing how it grows this tour may be good for you. If you are not a foodie you might be more interested in their other tours. The biking is not difficult but the paths are narrow and sometimes have scooter traffic. The toughest part was the sun and heat. The first night of homestay was more of a rustic motel on the river. The second night was a true homestay where you can help prep your own dinner. It was a well organised tour, my group had only five people, we had a memorable time.

Hi
We have just been on the 3 day Mekong Delta tour and I just wanted to write to say how fantastic it was. Sinhbalo were complete professionals from the moment we booked the tour, helping us decide which trip was best for us and showing us all options available. The trip itself is the most memorable we have done, and this says a lot considering we have been travelling for a year and half. Our guide Viet was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable, he was more than happy to answer all our questions and made us feel welcome in this beautiful country. I do not have a bad thing to say about this trip, the food was excellent, the country beautiful and the people so friendly. I hope Sinhbalo have not spoiled us for any trips to come.
Thanks again for a fantastic time. I have and will continue to recommend you to others. Well done.

Greetings from Canada,
A quick note to let you know how thoroughly impressed both my daughter and I were with the experience we had with Sinhbalo Adventures and in particular with our guide Hai Nguyen. We did the 2 night / 3 days in the unforgettable Mekong Delta.
I had read about your tour company in the Lonely Planet and wow I am ever glad I followed their advice about your company.
We really felt like we were able to get up close and personal with some local people which is exactly what we were looking for. All of our connections were flawless, our driver (sorry dont remember his name) was unbelievable negotiating those roads and traffic, he was in complete control all the time.
And then there is Hai, he really made this tour for us. Not only was he a wealth of information about the country, history, political landscape, food and geography I felt like I had made a new friend. Hai is a pro, he arrives 15 mins early each morning with a smile on his face and spring in his step. Clearly he is very happy doing what he does and it shows. Without a doubt he made our trip.
I hope one day to come back to Vietnam, I have many treasured memories of my time there and right at the top of those memories is my time spent touring the Mekong Delta with Hai and Sinhbalo Adventures.
All the best to you.

We decided that we did not want to got on a day trip with the hordes, so elected to have a private excursion cycling through the mekong delta. We were picked up from our hotel in a very comfortable minibus by our driver and guide and set off for the delta. The bus trip went quickly with lots of info offered by our guide about life in Vietnam, and pointing out interesting things about the culture on our journey. Once we arrived at May Tho, we hopped on our bikes (good quality geared bikes) and set off flat, easy cycling roads which were often only pathways, through coconut groves, rice paddies around small villages. Our guide grew up in the delta, so was full of local information and was happy to take things at our pace. We were never rushed.
We transferred to a boat to punt up the mekong to a local “restaurant” were a family prepared a delicious meal. It was a beautiful setting and extraordinarily quite.
After lunch we had a “nanna nap” on a hammock before hopping back on our bikes for our return to Ben Tre. We visited the markets there where our guide showed and offered us exotic fruits (yummy). We also saw some not so yummy produce, but it was a great experience.
All in all, we had a great day, had some amazing experiences and enjoyed the company of our guide (Benny??? – sorry!)

Hello Sinh,
I am the friend of Anh Thu Do who referred me to you. I just wanted you to know that my sister and I thought our one day trip on the Mekong Delta (Cai Be) was one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Lam, our guide, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and determined to teach us all he could about life in Saigon and on the Mekong. I’m amazed at all that was included in the price of $50 per person. It is, without a doubt, the best $50 I’ve ever spent! The boat ride through the floating market was so interesting and different from anything I’ve ever seen, and the sampan ride through the remote canals was a highlight. I loved seeing everyday life along the banks of the river along with the abundance of tropical fruits growing everywhere. The sampling of various fruits was delicious, and the private lunch on the island was outstanding! We enjoyed every bite of the huge feast. The spring rolls were the best I’ve ever had. We appreciated all the samples of coconut candy, banana candy , peanut brittle, green tea, etc. as we visited the most interesting factories. It was fascinating to see all that can be done with coconuts and rice! The people everywhere were just lovely. My sister and I are still talking about how well the Vietnamese treated us. Then Lam even took us to a Trung Nguyen coffee shop in Saigon on his own time so we could sample the wonderful coffee and drink it like the locals do. I only had a little over a day and a half in Vietnam, and I don’t think I could have used the time in a better way. Now I need to return so I can see more of your beautiful country! Thank you for suggesting this wonderful tour!

I really enjoyed the boat and cycling trip with Sinh last week, booked by Catharine John (Kate!). Many thanks to Sinh for being such a good guide and for buying the longans and pomelos.
You may want to to advertise your company in Cycle, the CTC magazine. I think that there are many cyclists here who would be interested in your tours.

Hi Phuong,
I wanted to thank you and Sinhbalo for organizing such an enjoyable and unforgettable trip!! I appreciate Sinhbalo’s flexibility in re-organizing the trip since I arrived a day late.
The trip was well organized and it was obvious that a lot of thought was put into plotting out the trip. The sights were spectacular!!! I liked how we got to visit places where we could see what everyday life in the Mekong is like in addition to more well-known tourist attractions. On top of the bike riding, I’m glad there was a good mix of other activities. On the last night, it was really great that we got to stay in that historic guest house where we got to help make our spring rolls and pumpkin flower fritters. All in all, it was a really fantastic trip!!
On the website, it says how much ground is covered every day but I also think it would be nice if you listed out the range of how much biking is expected every day. One night my friend and I also mapped out our travel route and it was really amazing. I felt kind of proud of myself. Maybe that’s something worth adding to the site.
I’m also really grateful to the drivers on our trip. They were SO nice and incredibly attentive. My bug spray leaked all over the pouch attached to my handle bars. I was pleasantly surprised that the driver had cleaned up that mess for me. He also did a lot to make sure that my handle bar grips were tightly in place and no strings were hanging off my carrying pouch. Also, the driving was smooth enough to allow me to take really great naps in the van!
There are a billion reasons why our trip was absolutely remarkable but one of the main reasons had to be Thang, our amazing guide!! He was the greatest! If we do a trip again, I would definitely want to have him as a guide. The trip really wouldn’t have been as enjoyable without him. Though he was cool and laid back, he was obviously very concerned with keeping us happy and well-fed…not an easy task!! He was well-informed, had a great sense of humor and was very kind and thoughtful. We both learned a lot from him and it was very nice to be around him. Actually, he seemed to charm all the people we met along the way, especially the children who seemed to immediately accept him as an older brother type. Very cute! He and the drivers seemed to have a great working relationship. They cooperated well to make the trip run smoothly and to make us feel really safe on the road.
I would strongly recommend Sinhbalo and Thang as a guide, to anyone wanting to visit Vietnam.
Thanks again for everything!!

We were accompanied by a very good guide in the person of Haí. He gave us a lot of information about the life of the people in the Mekong delta and other relevant information about Vietnam. Hes top! We also are very satisfied about the organisation of this trip. Good hotels and very good meals.

We travelled from 5-7 December and were fortunate to have Minh as our guide and Dril as our driver – both of whom were very professional and helpful people. Minh in particular has a broad knowledge and was able to show us a range of fascinating sights, introduce us to some very interesting local people and share with us lots of information about the region and the people who live there which made the trip truly memorable for us all. Dear Phuong ( dophuong@sinhbalo.com )
We recently enjoyed a cycling tour of the Mekong Delta under the guidance of Thung.
This was the highlight of our 2 week visit to Vietnam and I will recommend your agency and specifically Thung to my friends.
He has all the qualities to be an excellent tour guide. His English is good and he is keen to learn and improve. He is young and enthusiastic, has humour and most importantly excellent people skills. He has the ability to be friendly but also allows one personal space. These are his strengths and this young man obviously has great potential.
You are aware that we reached the airport too late and missed our flight.
There were a multitude of errors while we did try to start the 3rd day early , curtail the tour and bypass lunch to get to the airport.
What is apparent in hindsight is that Thung and the driver were not aware of air travel requirements or where the airport was.
Thung attempted to provide the ‘full’ 3rd day tour to the additional person. Being young and in-experienced, he would have benefitted from more instruction and support from Head Office.
He did all he could under the difficult circumstances. He fronted up to us professionally and presented the solution with dignity.
Thung continued to provide insight into the region on the drive down to Rach Gia while clearly distressed.
I hope you will reassure me that his pay was NOT docked.
We so enjoyed the cycle tour of the Delta and I think the format works very well. We were fortunate with excellent weather, great company with Tao and MOSTLY with the confident guidance of Thung.
Sincerely
Gail, Gary and Lauren Stein

We will try to do Mendoza Argentia to Bariloche Argentina with a bit of Chile as well this coming January. We shall call it the wine and steak tour. Good morning Loan,
A few, fairly average photos, from our trip a few weeks ago …and our grateful thanks to you and the guides who made our visit to Vietnam and Cambodia such a wonderful experience. Our particular thanks to Nighe(?) and Lu who took us to the Mekong where I’d never been before. They made the trip a personal experience for us in a way I can’t begin to describe.
Instinctively the guides seemed to know what we wanted to experience as well as to see. Seeing a place is not the same as becoming, for a short time, a part of the landscape and experiencing life from a different perspective. Sinhbalo managed to make that happen.
I will be writing separately to your partner company in Cambodia but also express our gratitude for the outstanding visit there.
From the time you responded to my initial email a few months ago, to the time we were farewelled at Siem Reap airport a week ago (with Bunlem still trying to make me understand the traditional Cambodian farewell bow) everything that you promised you delivered – and much more!
I was initially concerned at booking a company in another country over the internet but those fears were soon dismissed as I continued to correspond with you, who demonstrated such admirable patience with two ‘older’ ladies.
I am pleased that we chose to deal with an ‘onshore’ company as apart from the company’s professionalism, it seems to me that it is a good thing our money stays in Vietnam and Cambodia and does not go to international travel companies. Sinhbalo knows the country and knows the people and that is a huge benefit when we can ask questions and have them answered by people who were born and grew up there.
So you can rest assured that we will be speading the word in Australia about Sinhbalo and the superb office and field staff. In fact I’ve already given out your web address to a work colleague.
If you want to use my name and letter to you in any endorsements, please feel free to do so, and if you wish give out my email address for personal endorsement.
Our very best to you and all the team at Sinhbalo and we do hope to see you again.
Many many thanks for making this trip so special.

Both our guides (Wu and Phung) were very nice, helpful and we enjoyed the tours with them. Please let Phung know that we managed to get to Kampot from the boarder by motorbike, it did cost 300000 VND for two persons and took us about one hour (about half of the way was dirtroad). There were some motorbike and taxis available once we entered Cambodia, so it is no problem at all for travellers to ride on to Kampot, Kep or even Sihanoukville (we did not see any buses though)…

We did a lot of reading about Vietnam before we began our trip, but he taught us a lot about the history and culture of Vietnam, explained a lot of details we would have never known, and answered all our questions. Mr. Ming was a very safe and courteous driver. We always felt comfortable with him and he also made the trip fun.
Thank you to you, Loan, for helping to make the arrangements and also for initially suggesting that we plan our trip to start later in October.
Brilliant advice !
We want to thank all three of you for your professionalism and attention to detail and for making our trip to Vietnam unforgettable.

Hello Phuong,
We are just back at the hotel after the Mekong trip….SBL11….what a great time we have had!!
The itnerary was just wonderful with so many different special parts to it….biking, boat trips, and markets especially. And all the little children calling out thier “hello”.
And Chau was a fantastic guide…lots of information, very very patient, good sense of humour and coordinating brilliantly with the van driver for all the transfers.
And the driver (I am sorry I am embarrassed that I did not get his name) was great too…we felt quite safe with him. And we loved the cold water and the cold towels he always had ready for us.
Between them the two of them, they were just so thoughful of big and little things that were important for us to enjoy it all.
So, it was a great success for us. We will be telling our friends about this part of the trip and about Sinhbalo.
Jill and Ann join me in thanking you and Sinhbalo for making it a great two days.
I’ll write again after the Halong Bay trip.
Very best regards,
Bryce
PS 1. We will be quite happy if you use this email in your promotion on your website or otherwise.
PPS Please do not take this at all as a criticism, but we do have sore bottoms now!!!…future clients would do well to bring soft bike seat covers….or that could be a little thing further you could offer, even as an “extra”.

Good Afternoon,
We travelled to the Mekong Delta on the 1st May and then the Cu Chi Tunnels on the 3rd May with Mr Tr Huynh Phuong and Mr Le Van Nghi. We would just like to express our huge appreciation to Phuong for being a wonderful driver and to Ngni for being an amazing and interesting guide. We will certainly pass on Sinhbalo’s details to any of our friends that travel to Vietnam in the future.
The trips were at the end of a wonderful trip to Vietnam and so we had already fallen for the charms of Vietnam, however the few days that we spent listening to Nghi’s stories, helped us get a true depth of understanding for Vietnam and its people, which enriched our whole travelling experience.
Please pass on our appreciation to Nghi and inform him that he really touched us with his outlook on life, which is something we can all learn from.
kindest regards,

Dear Loan,
being back home we would like to let you know that we really enjoyed our travel with Sinhbalo. The car was in
excellent shape and very comfortable. Our driver was well experienced. We felt safe during the whole trip.
Central Vietnam is quite gorgeous! Vinh is a really good informed guide with terrific connections around Konthum and even in Hoian. We learned very much from him – even cooking a perfect chicken meal and doing springrolls.
Vinh introduced us to the Bahnar people and accompanied us with his knowledge and useful recommendations during our time with them. We were highly impressed by the Bahnars’ openness and kindness as well as by the performance of the dancers and singers. That evening was a highlight and an experience we can strongly recommend to future travellers.
We send a lot of thanks to our motivated and knowledgable guide and to our perfect and kind driver!

We have been intending to write this since arriving home just before Christmas – but we have been so lazy after such a wonderful holiday in Vietnam.
The efficiency of Sinhbalo impressed us, and since being home we have recommended you to several friends (including our travel agent).
Our tour was for 3 days in the Mekong – 10-12 December.
This tour was a memorable close to our 4 weeks in Vietnam and it would not have been so without our guide, Hoan.
His knowledge of the area, as well as Vietnam in general, meant that we not only had 3 days of unique experiences but we also learnt so much. We appreciated his professional approach, but also his easy manner and sense of humour.

I just wanted to thank you for the nice tour we have had in the Mekong Delta. Our guide was a very nice and helpful person and he did his best to show us daily life and we appreciated. The only problem was with Liberty 6,we did not appreciate being moved to Metropole – of course 3 rooms were upgraded but the 4th was not ready until 22.ooh because of A C problems and it was a ground floor room without window.the problem was friends were supposed to meet us at Liberty6, we were expecting fax, we had laundry to collect and also the delivery from the dressmaker. It is not fair for a hotel to behave like that, we had left our bagage and they knew pretty well we had reservations.Since it is not the first time such thing happens with this hotel ,I think you had better change for a more serious place.
Anyway we have had a great time in South VietNam!!!!! Michèle

Hello!
This message is for Hai, Tram, and Mr. Sinh, from Mark and Louise Mosrie in the US. We are home now, after a long sail across the Pacific Ocean to
Seattle, Washingtonl; and then a long car ride from Seattle to our home in Knoxville, Tennessee. We have been telling many Vietnam stories to all our
friends and family. I think they are all ready to visit Saigon and travel with Hai to the Mekong Delta!
Thanks you all for everything you did for us during our short stay in Vietnam. It was the highlight of our entire voyage. We are trying to find a
way we can come back to see you all. It is expensive to get there by plane, but we will keep looking and eventually we will see you all again.
I have replaced all the camera equipment that was lost in the taxi. My insurance company was very understanding and helped me to get some new
equipment. Thank you for letting me use your fax machine to receive the report from VinaTaxi. It was most important to the insurance company that I
have it.
Please stay in touch with us, and we will do the same! And tell Hai to send us an e-mail message!
Thanks again for everything!

Hello,
My husband, mother and I took a 3 day Mekong Delta bicycle tour in January. We were very pleased with the tour. The route, bikes and acommodations were terrific. We would definitely use Sinhbalo Adventures for future tours.
We were especially pleased with our tour leader, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thang. Mr. Thang was a wonderful guide. He taught us many things about Vietnam and the Mekong. He was patient and accomodating, especially with my 66 year old mother. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and to help us enjoy the trip. He was the best tour guide I have experienced on any tour, anywhere in the world.
Our Sales person, a young woman, was also very helpful and honest about the tours and how they compare to other agencies.
We will recommended that our friends use Sinhbalo Adventures and Mr. Thang for tours of Vietnam. Thank you for a memorable trip.

hello Sinh
Firstly, thank you very much indeed for making our holiday in Vietnam so interesting and an unforgetable experience. A beautiful country with friendly people. We well never forget it and we will certainly recommend you to people here in Switzerland.
What I want you to tell me is how much I owe you for the taxi from Saigon to Dalat. If you give your bank account number, I will have the amount transfered.
Here in Switzerland the weather is cold and it has snowed today, but that is typical for this time of year.
Give my regards to your wife, we wish you CHUC MUNG NAM MOI, and if ever you get the possibilty to come to Switzerland you know you are welcome at our house.
Best Wishes, Malcolm and Elsbeth

Dear Sinh and Cham, (I am not quite sure if the name of your wife is spelt properly !)
We got safely home. After we left Vietnam we had a 10 hours’ break in Malaysia and we decided not to hang arround the airport, therefore we went to town to the Petronas Towers. We had the opportunity to take the lift to the bridge between the two towers to get a wonderful outlook
towards Kualalumpur. In the downer floors there were a lot of boutiques for shopping, as we had enough time we all walked in and out the shops and had a look round and in the evening we could watch the amazing waterfall spectacal in the park of the towers. The flight home was long
but finally we arrived at Zurich Airport.
Once again we say thank you for your charming company and the good and competant guiding we had with you and if any of our friends are interested in visiting Vietnam in a special way – not only following the stream of the common tourists – we shall give them your address.
Hopefully you will visite Switzerland in the near future and then of course you must let us know the dates of your stay so that we will be able to arrange a meeting at Thun – if possible with all the others of our group.
Waiting for your coming may be even with your wife we shall be lookingforward to wellcoming you.
Love
Ruth and Bernhard.

An extra big thank you from Sandra and Sarah for all those “little things” you did to make our Viet Nam Adventure enjoyable, memorable and problem free.
We appreciate you going that extra step so we could do or see something really special that other visitors miss. Thank again.

Dear Ms. Minh Tram:
Greetings. I want to thank you for making possible a most interesting and rewarding visit to Vietnam. The boys all found it fascinating, and fun, too. Nam was an excellent guide, and Son was the perfect driver. I hope I will be able to take more groups of students to Vietnam in the future; if so, I’ll certainly contact you.
With kind regards,
Steve Coleman

Dear Ms. Tram,
This is Hiliary Douglas from CET. I wanted to take a few minutes to thank you personally for working closely with Binh to set up such a great tour to the Mekong Delta for my St Olaf Jan-term students. All of the students really enjoyed the trip a lot, and in my opinion it was one of the best Mekong tours I’ve ever been on. Your company really understands how to set up a “study tour” for college students, and I look forward to working with you again in the future.
Also, thanks so much for sending such an experienced guide along on the trip – Gia is one of the best guides I’ve ever worked with. He was very flexible with planning and scheduling, and has an incredible collaborative spirit that made working with him a true joy. Usually when I travel with student groups as a “truong doan”, the trips are very stressful for me — this time I couldn’t believe how smoothly everything went and how little stress I experienced. This is due in no small part to Gia’s good preparation, groundwork, flexibility in each moment, and overall helpfulness and positive attitude. Gia was also always willing to go beyond the duties of a tour guide – helping me set up meals that weren’t part of Sinhbalo’s package, acting as a facilitator during the village visit in Ben Tre (which had been set up and managed by VLSF), etc… I also look forward to working with Gia again in the future.
Thanks so much again!
Happy New Year!
Warmly,
Hiliary

Hi there Sinh,
Thanks for the photo’s.
We have our final meeting with the group this coming thursday night, when parents come in to see the photo’s and Video’s. I have some of the photo’s already, but many of the students still have to bring them in, I also have to edit the video, as I have 450 mins worth! Koen wants all of it, but most want about a half hour version.
Thank you again for making it such a good experience. We are strongly recommending the school to run it again if you are happy to do it. And my wife is eager to come out too. She is not much of a cyclist, but could always get off and walk over the bridges!
Anyway, I have to get on with some work now, but will put together a video and photo’s as soon as I have some time, and post them to you.
Take care, and regards to Trieu and the rest of the team.
John.

Dear Miss Loan
Thank you very much for all your hardwork on the part of my group. They had a fantastic time! Mr Hoa and Mr Hien were wonderful. We were very well looked after and always safe.
I have been very impressed with Sinhbalo and I will be in touch later as I am organising another study tour of students to Vietnam at the end of November.
Please pass my thanks on to your manager.
Kind regards
