DaLat, Lak lake to Vietnam beaches NhaTrang 4days

Travel up the highlands with pristine tropical forests, hill tribe villages and tame elephants. Then we head down the mountain to Vietnam beaches NhaTrang.

Day 1: Sai Gon to DaLat.
We departure to Da lat. After the freeway from Saigon to DauGiay, we will get to the red basalt soil area, specially DinhQuan district of DongNai province. Rubber plantation and tobaco farms. DinhQuan area with many volcanoes craters dated back to Jura era about 100 million years ago. The terrain changes as the elevation rises. Up to BaoLoc pass at the level of 800 meter above the sea level, we get to the kingdom of green tea. We visit beautiful Dambri Falls, 18km off BaoLoc town, very beautiful scenery of tea plantation and mulberry farms. In the afternoon, we travel to DiLinh town at level 1000 m and passing many tea and coffee plantations to Da Lat, where we spend overnight.

Day 2: Around DaLat. (Breakfast, lunch)

Da Lat is quite different from anywhere else you’ll visit in Vietnam. Known as the “City of Eternal Spring” for its distinctive temperate climate, Da Lat is blessed with lakes, waterfalls, evergreen pine forests and gardens. It remains a small charming city
We spend the day sightseeing around the city. We visit HangNga (a hotel known as Crazy house, the BaoDai Summer Palace, the Old French Cremaillere railway, the Dalat Flower Garden, the TrucLam pagoda, the TuyenLam reservoir and other sights. Another option for this day would be to visit to Lat village and, from there, trek up LangBian mountain (2100 m) , whose summit commands breathtaking views, including great overviews of Dankia Lake as well Da Lat city. It’s a moderate five-hour hike up and back. We overnight in Da Lat.

Day 3: DaLat to Lak Lake. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Getting off the beaten track, we travel through pristine tropical forests to LamHa, a new valley south of Dalat with lots of coffee farms. We keep up on highway 27, steep mountain through hill tribe villages and going down to a huge valley of Lak lake, a M’nong village famous for their elephants.

Lak lake is one of the largest natural freshwater lake, connected to Krong Ana river, measuring approximately 500 ha, located at an altitude of over 500 meters above sea level. It is is a unique eco-tourism attractions, with a dreamlike natural beauty of the surrounding mountains and forests.

We stay on bungalow or stilt house at Lak lake resort. If you would like to reserve an elephant ride by Lak lake next morning, please reserve this evening.

Day 4: Lak Lake to NhaTrang (Breakfast)

We head back down the mountains to one of Vietnam’s most beautiful beaches: Doc Let Beach, where we will spend a relaxing afternoon before we head to famous Vietnam beaches NhaTrang. We plan to stop at the Ponagar Cham temple enroute. Ponagar temple was a great Hindu temple of Champa kingdom back into the 8th century, gradually adapted to local religion. The name “Po Nagar” is used to describe the whole structure, but actually it is the name of the largest tower 23 meters high. Above the main door is the shaped goddess Uma, wife of Shiva.
There is a panorama view of NhaTrang beach from the temple.
The tour ends at your city hotel.
